Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers is eyeing Manchester City winger Scott Sinclair.
Rodgers worked with Sinclair at Chelsea and Swansea City and rates the England U21 international highly.
City are keen to sell the midfielder this month and have been haggling over terms with West Bromwich Albion.
Rodgers has been monitoring developments and is ready to step in for Sinclair after being frustrated in his bid to bring Thomas Ince back from Blackpool.
