Liverpool are threatening Swansea City's deal for Jonathan de Guzman.

De Guzman has been a revelation for Swansea this season, playing his way into the Holland squad after arriving on-loan last summer from Villarreal.

However, Swans boss Michael Laudrup has stalled on wrapping up a permanent deal for De Guzman, so opening the door for Liverpool.

Spanish transfer market experts Fichajes.net says Villarreal have been approached by Liverpool representatives to register their interest in De Guzman.
