Bolton Wanderers defender Gary Cahill is in the sights of Liverpool boss Roy Hodgson.
The Sun says Jamie Carragher's KO has left the Reds woefully light in defence, with Danish star Daniel Agger already out until Christmas with a damaged calf.
Hodgson is keen on Cahill, though Bolton's £15 million valuation may price him out of a move to Anfield.
