Liverpool boss Kenny Dalglish is ready to take Craig Bellamy off Manchester City hands - so long as they waive their fee.
The Mirror says the Reds are interested in bringing Bellamy back to Anfield four years after selling him to West Ham United with David Ngog poised to join Bolton Wanderers.
Roberto Mancini has made it clear that the Welshman will never play for him and City have been trying all summer to offload him.
Now Liverpool are willing to sign him either on loan or on a free transfer.
However they will not pay a fee for Bellamy on top of his £80,000-a-week wages and it remains to be seen if City will accept their proposal.
