Liverpool target Klopp turns down Mexico job

Former Borussia Dortmund coach Jurgen Klopp has turned down the Mexico job.

Mexico are keen to find a replacement for Miguel Herrera after his departure.

The Daily Mail says Klopp has decided to steer clear of the Mexico Football Federation, leaving himself open to the possibility of managing a big Premier League club when he finally ends his sabbatical.

The 48-year-old has been linked with taking over from Brendan Rodgers at Liverpool, with the Reds boss adamant that he is the victim of a "frenzy" to get him out of Anfield.
