Liverpool have been encouraged in their pursuit of PSG striker Kevin Gameiro.

Reds boss Brendan Rodgers expressed interest in Gameiro in January and now is planning to try again this summer after learning of the striker's frustration with his lot in Paris.

"Kevin is not the type to make a fuss, but he is not fooled by the consideration that he carries for the club. Last week marked a turning point. He was not even warned before (he would be on the bench). Kevin was furious," a close friend told Le Parisien.
