Liverpool target Gareth Bale insists he's happy at Tottenham.
"He talks to me all the time," Bale told Independent. "He keeps me on my toes and tells me things I need to know. I really think he's a very good manager and someone who can give us the confidence. And I do believe it is all down to confidence for us.
"Once that comes back we'll win the majority of our games. I'm sure of that. And I think it is finally coming back."
Bale continued: "I came here because I was offered first-team football in the Premiership.
"They were the most interested in me and stayed keen. I was going to join in January [2007] but I wasn't quite sure so they even waited for me until the summer. They showed a lot of faith, a lot of respect for me as a player and I just want to repay that now."
