Liverpool have tabled a bid for Blackpool winger Thomas Ince. The Daily Mail says Liverpool have made a £5million bid for Ince in a dramatic move to take the England Under 21 midfielder back to Anfield.

Brendan Rodgers is keen to recruit Ince's attacking flair and eye for goal and hopes to reach an agreement with Blackpool in time to complete a deal at the start of the January transfer window.

Blackpool have yet to come back with an answer, according to Anfield sources, but Liverpool are confident of signing him for a second time.
