Liverpool will soon make an offer for Southampton captain Adam Lallana according to reports.
Sky Sports is of the belief that the Reds are keen to table a bid for the 25-year old Saints midfielder who has been one of the top players in the Premier League this season.
Reds boss Brendan Rodgers is a big admirer of Lallana, who won this season's Southampton Player of the Year award, and will reportedly make a play for him before this summer's World Cup.
Lallana is expected to figure prominently in Roy Hodgson's England squad in Brazil which has prompted Rodgers to act prior to the team leaving for South America in early June.
