Liverpool have made an offer for Inter Milan midfielder Philippe Coutinho. The Daily Mail says Liverpool have launched an £8million bid for Inter Milan's Brazilian youngster Coutinho.

Brendan Rodgers is willing to step up his interest with Blackpool resisting offers for Tom Ince and Wesley Sneijder's financial package proving prohibitive.

The 20-year-old Coutinho fits the profile of Liverpool's owners Fenway Sports Group, as a young and emerging international player although he has struggled for form this season.
