Liverpool have snapped up 14 year-old Herbie Kane from Bristol City.
The Daily Mail says City will receive compensation from Liverpool, for whom Kane's recruitment represents a continuation of the club's focus on youthful talents.
Since Brendan Rodgers' appointment as manager, Andre Wisdom, Suso and Raheem Sterling are among the club's youth graduates to succeed in the first team.
