Liverpool youngster Samed Yesil is on the verge of joining Trabzonspor on a permanent deal, according to Turkish Football.

The 22-year-old joined the Reds from Bayer Leverkusen in 2012, but failed to make a single league appearance for the Merseyside club.

Yesil's current deal at Anfield expires next month and he is expected to move to Turkey on a free deal.

He spent last season on loan at FC Luzern last season and made 17 appearances for the Swiss club.
