Liverpool striker Luis Suarez rejected a move to Juventus last summer, it has been revealed.
The Daily Star says the Italian giants are known to be big fans of Suarez and they made a firm move to snap up the Uruguayan star.
Unhappy Suarez alluded to a "big European club" being interested in him in an interview with a national newspaper earlier this week - and that club was Juventus.
He said: "Last year I had the opportunity to move to a big European club and I stayed on the understanding that if we failed to qualify for the Champions League the following season I'd be allowed to go."
