Liverpool striker Danny Sturridge insists England should not be obsessed by teammate Luis Suarez.
Suarez, who had keyhole surgery in his knee last month, is expected to feature for Uruguay against England in Sao Paulo.
But Sturridge told the London Evening Standard: "It doesn't really matter if Luis plays, it matters about England.
"We created a lot of chances against Italy - sometimes you score five, sometimes you score one. It is important we continue playing the way we played against Italy. We were just unfortunate. There were two very good sides out there. They got the breaks and in the end they won.
"Regardless of the other results, we would have still gone into the game with a positive mentality, which is to try to win, and the fact Uruguay lost their opening game doesn't really change anything.
"I don't think it would have changed anything if Uruguay had won - they would still want to beat us and they would still want to secure their advance into the next round as early as possible. It will be a big game also between Costa Rica and Italy.
"It is just important we continue playing the way we did and we will get the breaks we deserve. It is a big game but these are the games everyone lives for. These are the games we all want to play in.
"We still have two games to show what we can do, two games to win and we are positive going into them."
