Liverpool striker Daniel Sturridge was delighted to make his Champions League return on Tuesday night.

The Englishman made his first start in the competition since he was with Chelsea when he lined up for a dramatic 3-2 win over PSG at Anfield.

"The last time was for Chelsea when we won it, so it is great to contribute to the team today, but it's early days so we aren't going to get ahead of ourselves.

"It is a team here and everybody is going to add to the wealth of the club."
