Liverpool striker Mario Balotelli could yet extend his loan at AC Milan into next season.

The Daily Express says an extension to his current loan deal could be an option, because the Serie A club haven't been impressed enough by the Italian to give him a permanent contract.

Balotelli has scored a total of just two league goals in the past two seasons for both Liverpool and Milan, and it is believed Jurgen Klopp isn't interested in having the striker back.

Promoted Crotone has publicly declared their interest this week.
