Liverpool striker Daniel Sturridge has been offered to Newcastle United.

The Evening Chronicle says Toon have been offered the chance to sign Sturridge in the summer transfer window.

The Magpies turned to Sturridge on loan in January but the striker is now available for a straight £15million.

However, Rafa Benitez has other priorities higher up his wanted list and the England international's decision to pull the plug on a loan deal at the last minute in January hasn't been forgotten by the Magpies.

With Sturridge hopeful his injury worries are now behind him he has been offered out to a host of clubs by his agent including United, Seville, Besiktas and Fenerbahce.
