Liverpool striker Dani Pacheco chasing more senior action

Liverpool striker Dani Pacheco is hoping to see more first team action this season.

Already this term, Pacheco has signed a new contract that takes him up to 2012 and has played in the Champions League and Barclays Premier League.

"It has been a really good season for me making my first-team debut which I have been looking forward to for a long time," the Reds No.47 told Liverpoolfc.tv.

"For my debut against Fiorentina it was a strange day because I only found out in the afternoon of the game I would be in the squad. David Ngog wasn't feeling well so I got a call telling me to be ready to be on the bench.

"I didn't have enough time to get nervous and think about the game so I was quite relaxed.

"When I got the call to come on, the manager told me to play between the lines and work hard. He told me to relax and play my normal game.

"The only bad thing was we lost the game but it was an amazing day for me and like a dream."
