Liverpool striker Andy Carroll was delighted with his goal in their Carling Cup win at Exeter City.
The big No.9 came off the bench to thunder home the third of the night after Suarez and Maxi Rodriguez had put the Reds in the driving seat.
Carroll said: "It was nice to get off the mark. We all played well today and all of the lads who got the goals did great. I thought Exeter did well too so all round it was a good day for everyone.
"It was important to come down here and get a result. We always knew it was going to be tough."
Asked about the impact of Luis Suarez who netted one and made two, Carroll also told liverpoolfc.tv: "He's been great. Obviously everyone knows what he is about and he showed it again tonight."
