Liverpool striker Andy Carroll was delighted with his goal in England's 1-1 draw with Ghana.

Carroll feels he's proved himself at international with the effort.

"It was great to get the goal," Carroll told ITV1. "The lads played well, we're obviously disappointed they scored in the last minute.

"I'm coming back fit now. Getting the goal proved I'm here and ready to score goals for England."
