Andy Carroll was delighted with his goal for Liverpool in their victory over Everton.

It was the England international's derby debut and he certainly made his mark with the opening goal.

"It was a good feeling to get the goal," said Carroll.

"It always is great to score, and to get my first league goal of the season against Everton couldn't be any better."
