Liverpool striker Mario Balotelli will have his FA misconduct case heard today.
The Daily Star says he has accepted an FA misconduct charge after using language deemed to be racist and anti-Semitic in a social media post.
He could face up to a three-match ban after an independent regulatory commission hears written submissions from himself and the FA at Wembley.
A one-game suspension is more likely but Liverpool hope Balotelli's immediate apology, withdrawal of the Instagram posting and letter of mitigation will earn him a fine and reprimand instead.
That would allow him to face Arsenal on Sunday if he recovers from a groin injury in time.
