Liverpool star Suarez demands apology from Man Utd's Evra

Liverpool striker Luis Suarez wants an apology from Manchester United fullback Patrice Evra. The Sun says he will demand an apology from Evra if he is cleared of the racist allegations hanging over him.

Manchester United left-back Evra accused the Uruguayan after last month's Anfield draw.

But the Liverpool hitman is adamant there was no wrongdoing and has been backed to the hilt by Kop top brass.

Suarez said: "We have to wait to see this issue decided and then the Manchester player and I will have to clear things up.

"Depending on who ends up in the wrong, one of us will have to apologise.

"The English FA will have to clear it up with him, because there is no proof I have said anything racist. I didn't say anything like that to him."
