Former Tottenham and QPR manager Harry Redknapp believes Liverpool star Raheem Sterling is worth every penny of the quoted £50million transfer fee.
The 20-year-old has been linked with a move away from Anfield all offseason with Manchester City reportedly leading the race to secure his services.
Redknapp told The Express: "Sterling's got great ability, let's hope he can sort himself out before the season starts.
"He's obviously made up his mind – I would think there's every chance he could go. I think his best bet would be to stay at Liverpool, but if he goes I don't know where he'd go, but I think he should stay where he is.
"In today's market he's worth it (£50m). He's a talent and he's at a great club, and he should be pleased that he's at such a great club and stay there for a few years and keep progressing."
