Liverpool star Mohamed Salah has paid tribute to Inter Milan coach Luciano Spalletti.

After a difficult period at Chelsea, Salah managed to rebuild his career with AS Roma under the guidance of Spalletti.

"He helped me a lot, he's really smart," stated the Egyptian.

"I talked to him after training and told him 'Mister, I want to improve in this thing' or 'I want to do this' and he never said no to me.

"He helped me as a person, improving my character, and under the defensive phase."
