England captain Steven Gerrard won't change his all-action style for the Euros.
The Liverpool star won’t be backing down either today or in the next few weeks.
Gerrard said: “If I think I can win a tackle fairly, I’ll go in and try and win it.
“Yes, the tackle last week might have been a caution, maybe even worse. But to me it was fair. It was clean, the side of my foot, no studs.
“I certainly won’t be wrapping myself in cotton wool — you can’t when you’re out there.
“Anyway, you run a far greater risk of getting injured if you’re pulling out of tackles or standing away from things.”
