Philippe Coutinho has the ability to play for a club like Atletico Madrid, according to Brazil teammate Filipe Luis.

The Reds playmaker is believed to be the subject of interest from French giants PSG and Spanish champions Barcelona and is becoming curious about what it is like to play for such clubs.

Atletico defender Luis is away with Coutinho at the 2016 Copa America in the USA and has revealed that the 23-year-old has enquired about playing with the absolute elite of European football.

"Coutinho is amazing and can make the difference. We discussed that he can play for top UCL sides," he told Esporte Interativo.

"Coutinho asked me how it feels to play a Champions League final. He would be welcomed at Atletico Madrid, he has the quality."

"In the locker room, our relationship is excellent. On pitch, we like to exchange passes. He's a joy."
