French teenager Jean-Kevin Duverne is attracting big English club interest.

France Football says Liverpool are among a clutch of clubs monitoring Duverne.

The talented defender, who plays for Ligue 2 minnows Lens, is considered an exciting prospect after a series of stellar displays.

His progress hasn't gone unnoticed with Liverpool, Tottenham, Southampton, Sunderland and Newcastle considering a swoop.

The 19-year-old has been compared with Real Madrid centre-back Raphael Varane and has already admitted he's flattered by the interest, reports the Daily Star.
