Tottenham and Liverpool have lodged bids for Besiktas defender Domagoj Vida.

Fanatik says Liverpool have submitted a £16m offer after seeing an initial £12m bid turned down.

Vida has starred alongside Dejan Lovren in Russia and will line-up against Gareth Southgate's England on Wednesday.

Spurs, meanwhile, have also offered £16m for Vida in the last 24 hours.

However, with an auction now sparked, Besiktas have informed both Premier League clubs they want €35m to sell the defender.
