Liverpool's major shirt sponsor, Standard Chartered, have revealed that they were thoroughly disappointed by the actions of Luis Suarez on the weekend.
The Uruguayan striker failed to shake the hand of Manchester United's Patrice Evra prior to Saturday's clash at Old Trafford - an incident which has sparked plenty of controversy - and prompted Suarez to issue an apology.
Standard Chartered, who pay Liverpool £20million a year, released a statement saying they were unhappy with how Suarez acted and admitted that they held conversations with Reds chiefs regarding the incident.
"We were very disappointed by Saturday's incident and have discussed our concerns with the club," a statement read, with a source claiming that: "It was a very robust conversation."
