Max Gradel has hinted he's ready to leave Saint Etienne.

Saint Etienne coach Christophe Galtier has declared this week he expects the winger to leave.

Former Leicester City junior Gradel has been watched by Liverpool and Southampton this season.

He told Foot Mercato: "Since I have been here, they have not really been ambitious. Not to the point of wanting to win something or to go higher because we do not stop selling our best players.

"There is no need to be smart to understand it. If the club decides to continue in this way, it will be up to me to make a decision.

"I know what I want and I want to go higher."
