Liverpool are ready to make a bid for Sevilla striker Alvaro Negredo.

AS says the Reds are prepared to offer around £17million for the 25-year-old forward.

Negredo has been linked with a move to Anfield in the past when, as a Real Madrid player, the Spanish giants were trying to tempt Xabi Alonso to the Bernabeu.

Hull City and Tottenham have also been linked with Negredo in the past.
