Liverpool captain Jordan Henderson has stated that he has been left disappointed with his disciplinary record.
Henderson has been in wonderful form this season and his contribution has proven to be crucial in Liverpool enjoying such a strong start to the campaign.
However, Henderson's disciplinary record has been a bit concerning as he has already picked up five yellow cards in just eight matches and the midfielder has now gone on to admit that he needs to avoid picking up needless bookings in the upcoming matches.
"Unfortunately, I was watching on Tuesday against Tottenham and not contributing because of suspension," said the England midfielder who missed the EFL Cup win over Spurs on Tuesday due to suspension.
"I won't dwell on the topic except to say I'm disappointed in myself that I've picked up five bookings so quickly in the season.
"It'll be something I look to learn from and address."
