Liverpool skipper Steven Gerrard is set to start their blockbuster against Manchester United.
The Daily Mail says Gerrard is ready to banish seven months of torment this weekend when he makes his long-awaited return to Liverpool's starting line-up.
After being carefully nursed back to full fitness from a long-standing groin problem, Liverpool's captain is set to be unleashed from the start for the first time since March 6 against Manchester United on Saturday.
Liverpool have been determined not to ask too much of Gerrard too soon and manager Kenny Dalglish has eased him back gradually, with three substitute appearances against Brighton, in the Carling Cup, Wolves and Everton.
