Liverpool captain Steven Gerrard admits the suspension for Danny Welbeck is a blow for England.
The Manchester United striker will miss this week's World Cup qualifier against Ukraine.
Gerrard told Sky Sports: "We're going to miss him. He's a big player for us now and you have seen his performance after getting the yellow card, going on and getting a couple of goals and he played really well.
"He will be missed on Tuesday, even more so because of the injuries we've got, but we have to take it on the chin and roll our sleeves up and take the responsibility."
On the Moldova result, which sent England back to the top of Group H, Gerrard added: "Job done. It was a professional performance.
"We knew Moldova were going to come here and try to kill the game, make it difficult and slow the tempo down. But getting the early goal certainly helped us and we went on from there.
"I thought we were strong throughout."
