Liverpool skipper Gerrard playing through pain barrier

Liverpool captain Steven Gerrard is playing through the pain barrier as he chases a first Premier League title.

The People says Gerrard is left in agony after matches due to a heel problem.

And the midfielder, primed to lead the Three Lions to the World Cup finals in Brazil this summer, is desperately trying to find a way to cope with the complaint.

The Adidas poster boy for the Predator has had FOUR new sets of boots made this season by his company.

The firm have tried to help by making moulds of his feet and Gerrard has been spotted in several versions of the design.

However, he is still feeling pain from the injury - in his left heel - and is trying to find other cures.
