England will be without key midfielder Steven Gerrard for Wednesday's friendly with Denmark in Copenhagen.
The Liverpool captain tweaked his groin in Sunday's 1-0 win over Chelsea at Stamford Bridge and despite playing the full 90 minutes, will not play with the Three Lions according to Reds boss Kenny Dalglish.
"He has a groin problem," said Dalglish. "He has to go so they (England) can have a look at him but we've spoken to England and he'll not be playing."
Gerrard would again have captained Fabio Capello's men in the absence of Manchester United's Rio Ferdinand.
