Liverpool skipper Steven Gerrard has joined Twitter.
He has set up an account (@SGF08) to promote the Steven Gerrard Foundation, which helps disadvantaged children, and insists he won't be stirring up trouble with personal opinions.
The first tweet went live on September 20 and already the account has nearly 40,000 followers.
