Liverpool skipper Gerrard insists no lingering row with Man City boss Mancini

Liverpool skipper Steven Gerrard insists there's no row with Manchester City boss Roberto Mancini following a bitter first-leg Carling Cup clash.

Mancini had claimed Glen Johnson should have seen red, just days after insisting Wayne Rooney had got Vincent Kompany sent off.

Gerrard said: "It was more of a heated conversation. It wasn't an argument or a head-to-head duel or anything.

"It wasn't an argument, I just thought I'd tell him that he was wrong. I'm not really interested in myself and Mancini. I'm just interested in getting a result."
