Liverpool captain Steven Gerrard admits he wants to see Michael Owen leave Newcastle United for a Premiership club.
The Daily Mail says Gerrard hopes Owen can escape the clutches of Newcastle United and get himself back to a "big club".
"Don't use that quote," he says with a smile, knowing very well that it is already too late. "I meant to say bigger club."
