Liverpool have signed USA youth international Marc Pelosi from Californian-based side De Anza Force.
The 17-year old midfielder has represented the US U17 team on 28 occasions and captained the team in the summer's U17 World Cup in Mexico.
The Reds have confirmed the capture with academy director Frank McParland delighted with the coup.
"We're determined to identify the best possible talent globally and I'm delighted we've been able to bring Marc in to the club," McParland told the club's official website.
