Liverpool signing Naby Keita sparked an all-in brawl as RB Leipzig lost to Eintracht Frankfurt last night.
The Liverpool Echo reports Leipzig were in action on Monday night at Frankfurt, with the pair among five clubs scrambling for top-four places behind runaway leaders Bayern Munich.
And Keita caused a commotion when, on the stroke of half-time, he caught Frankfurt's Makoto Hasebe with a late tackle.
The midfielder tried to walk away from the incident but was chased by Hasebe, who pushed the Guinean to spark a confrontation with players from both sides before the referee got control of the flashpoint and the players left the field for the dressing rooms.
Keita then hobbled off on 61 minutes after suffering what was later diagnosed as a thigh problem, with Leipzig yet to determine the extent of the damage.
