Liverpool's £20million new boy Jordan Henderson says he will not be burnt out when the next Premier League campaign swings around.
The 20-year old joined the Reds from Sunderland during the week but is straight into action in the U21 European Championships with England, which kicks off for the Young Lions against Spain tomorrow.
Henderson told liverpoolfc.tv that he expects to be fit and firing when his debut Anfield term comes around and insist he will not use burn out as an excuse.
"I know there are managers and players worried about burnout and playing too much, but I feel fine after the season," he said.
"Yes I've played a lot, but I've still got lots to give, still got energy. We are young and want to play football and can achieve something special for our country."
