Liverpool are set to be without Sadio Mane for their clash with Chelsea.

The Daily Star says Mane is expected to miss Liverpool's crunch clash with Chelsea later this month.

Mane, 24, is currently away at the Africa Cup of Nations with Senegal and he was on the scoresheet as they beat Zimbabwe 2-0 to seal a quarter-final spot last night.

Aliou Cisse's side are now set to play their last-eight tie on January 28 with Mane almost certain to be involved.

And that means the Reds will have to do without their star forward when they take on Chelsea in a Premier League title showdown three days later.
