Liverpool are stepping up their interest in Ajax midfielder Christian Eriksen.
The Daily Mail says Liverpool coach Sammy Lee was in Copenhagen this week to see Eriksen in action against England.
Eriksen, 18, is under contract with Ajax until 2014 but he is well aware that a number of top Barclays Premier League sides want to sign him.
He said: "Every time Ajax play there are clubs watching me. That's just the way it is. So yes, Liverpool have seen me but I'm not spending time wondering about it."
