Liverpool are joining Arsenal in attempting to sign the SC Freiburg centre-back Caglar Soyuncu.

The Reds are in the market for another defender as they hope to have an even tighter defense next season.

And they see Soyuncu as the player who can fit into manager Jurgen Klopp's system.

Turkish-Football has revealed that a source close to the player suggested that Liverpool made an enquiry regarding Soyuncu's availability.

And according to the Telegraph, any move for Soyuncu would cost around £35 million, as it is what Freiburg will demand for their talented centre-half.
