Liverpool have sent young midfielder Nikola Saric on-loan to Vitesse Arnhem.

Saric, who was born in Bosnia but has represented Denmark at Under-16, U17 and U18 level, has suffered with a succession of unfortunate long-term injuries in Liverpool's reserve team.

The youngster will join Vitesse on January 8 and has signed to the end of the season.

Vitesse are coached by former Chelsea fullback Albert Ferrer.
