Luis Suarez is set to start for Liverpool tonight at Manchester City.

The Sun says that is the broadest hint yet that Liverpool are not ready to accept his eight-game ban for racist abuse.

The FA have so far had no contact from Anfield chiefs regarding an appeal against the suspension.

Unless the Reds have a change of heart and accept the punishment, Suarez will continue to be available.

Liverpool have until January 13 to contest the decision but have been widely urged by anti-racism groups to accept their punishment and apologise to Manchester United defender Patrice Evra.

Yet until that happens, Suarez will continue to lead the attack with a Carling Cup semi-final first leg at City next week also on the agenda.
