Benfica winger Nuno Santos is being tracked by Liverpool.

Record says Liverpool sent scouts to watch Benfica youngster Santos play in the UEFA Youth League.

Santos has yet to make his first team debut for Benfica but is a regular for the club's reserve side who play in the second tier of Portuguese football.

He scored the opening goal in 2-2 draw against Manchester United this week.

Liverpool scouts also saw Santos score twice playing in the No 10 role as Benfica's youth side beat CSKA Moscow 5-1 earlier this summer.
