Bayer Leverkusen attacking midfielder Kai Havertz is attracting interest from Liverpool.
The Liverpool Echo says the Reds had scouts in attendance at the Germany U19s match against Belarus in a UEFA qualifier for the U19 Euro Championship on Wednesday.
The 18-year-old scored four on the night - admittedly with two penalties involved - while also notching an assist as Germany ran out 5-1 winners at the Arena Zabrze in Poland.
Havertz made his debut for Leverkusen on October last year, becoming the club's youngest Bundesliga player at the age of 17 years and 126 days.
